Winston Farm Public Hearing
Winston Farm Public Hearing |
September 21st @6PM |
|
IN PERSON: Frank D. Greco Senior Center 207 Market Street Saugerties, NY, 12477 |
It’s time to have our voices heard! Please attend the public hearing and tell the Town Board how concerned you are about the Winston Farm proposed development. By showing up in person you will have an impact.
Take action now to prevent a MASSIVE development proposal that will clear cut over 275 acres of hardwood trees, fill in wetlands, destroy habitat for species of special concern, potentially dry up neighbor’s wells, contaminate a 7,000 acre aquifer, increase traffic, and create noise pollution:

Scoping Volunteers |
What is a scoping document? The scoping document is an official document, initially presented by the developers, that outlines the environmental impacts and concerns surrounding the proposed development at Winston Farm. Currently, the scoping document inadequately addresses environmental and community concerns.
Why this matters: the scoping process is the time for our concerns to be heard. This is our moment to influence the future of Saugerties for generations to come! We are asking resident volunteers to review and comment on sections of the draft in a strategic and coordinated fashion. Sign up here. The scoping document is also downloadable at the link. We will provide detailed guidance in a follow-up email. |
